The PacSeal Hydraulics Grease Valve features ShearFlo® sealing technology that ensures long service life rated for 20,000 psi working pressure. These valves have instantaneous hydraulic or pneumatic actuation via direct or solenoid valve piloted with a spring return option. If a grease line check valve fails, the line may experience high-velocity and high-pressure backflow that has the potential to damage upstream components. When needle valves fail, they remain open and inherently cannot seal back-pressure. This makes upstream components vulnerable to damage. If backflow occurs, the PacSeal Grease Valve is failsafe closed with the spring return, which will protect itself and all components upstream from it. The backflow stops at the PacSeal Grease Valve because it seals from both directions.
